Metrogel Generic Metronidazole, Metrogel 30gm tube, is a synthetic drug used effectively to fight anaerobic bacterial infections and those caused by certain parasites [protozoa]. Rosacea is a skin condition which is often mistaken for acne; it presents itself in the form of a red and oily skin with pimples, pustules and papules that occur on the cheeks, chin, nose, forehead, neck and chest. Generic Metronidazole clears this skin infection.
A single gram of Metrogel contains 10mg Metronidazole, in a base of betadex, edetate disodium, hydroxyethyl cellulose, methylparaben, propylparaben, propylene glycol, phenozyethanol, niacinamide and purified water.
Metrogel is also called Rosacea Cream and used to treat Rosacea, which is often mistaken for acne, as painful pimples erupt on the skin surface. In addition, there can be swelling of the blood vessels that cause easy flushing or blushing. If Rosacea is not treated in time, the blood vessels can stay dilated, resulting in permanent skin damage. Generic Metronidazole prevents bacteria and protozoa from taking root in the skin cells, ultimately killing the organisms and curing this skin condition.
